All Year 10 students get access to the tool to complete a Clifton Strengths Profile through the Strengths and Skills Day in Term 1.
It will take 45 minutes to complete.
Students will be emailed instructions which include steps to create an account, redeem an access code and complete the strengths assessment.
The CliftonStrengths assessment runs for 45 minutes. It is made up of paired statements you’ll respond to based on instinct. For each statement pair, you have 20 seconds to respond. This time limit and your unfamiliarity with the statements ensure the assessment’s accuracy by reducing the likelihood that you will overthink your responses.
Individuals with a reading impairment can contact Futures Department to have the assessment timer disabled for when they participate in the assessment.
Upon completion of the Cliftons Strengths Profile tool, students will receive a personalised Strengths Report. Here is a sample for you to view.
Students will participate in a whole day incursion called Skills and Strengths Day to understand their profile and apply strategies for harnessing their strengths.
Following the Strengths and Skills Day, students will be invited to a 1:1 meeting with a member of the Futures Department to discuss their strengths and how they can be applied to their goals in Year 10.
