This excursion is designed in partnership with the Senior School to allow all Year 11 students the opportunity to experience the day in a life of a university student.
Students will be participating in a day that develops skills in:
independence
research and investigative skills
critical thinking
Students will need to wear full school uniform including their hats.
You will need to bring:
Opal card (if traveling via public transport)
Epipen/Asthma puffer (if required)
Your mobile phone with photo of emergency contacts
Laptop and charger (optional) - No wifi available at universities
Pens and notebook
Food or money to buy food
Plan your travel. We suggest public transport and to travel with others from Pymble.
Attend pre briefing presentation during MBS
Take a photo of your university Emergency information slide
Do some research on your university using the links in slides
Wear full school uniform
Bring pens, notepad, your laptop in your Pymble bag.
Pack EpiPen/Asthma puffer if your require one.
Charge your phone and have Teams on it with the Immersion Day Team.
Arrive promptly at your meeting place and notify if you are late.
Take notes in your Immersion Day booklet you will receive from your teacher.
Bring back three photos and three interesting facts about your visit to share with your Compass class following the excursion.
