Scholarship

A grant or payment made to support a student’s education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement.
Scholarships allow you to focus on your studies and the experience of tertiary (or other) education without the hassle or worry of paying off your study debt which could range from $20,000 to $45,000 (Canstarblue 2022).
There is a range of scholarships offered to domestic and international students for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

UNSW Veterans Scholarship The Scholarship has been established to support former and transitioning Australian Defence Force Personnel or their dependents, who are experiencing disadvantage to commence studies in any UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program.
Australian Veterans' Childrens Assistance Trust (AVCAT) AVCAT scholarships include Long Tan Bursaries and sponsored scholarships. Sponsored scholarships are for the children and grandchildren of ex-serving veterans. Long Tan Bursaries are for the children and grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans and are available in each state and territory. The Long Tan Bursary is funded by the Australian Government Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
ACU Veterans Scholarships There are several scholarships and grants available to you as a student veteran. These scholarships can assist you from your first year through to opportunities to study abroad.
In addition to the scholarships mentioned above, universities also offer a range of 'Co-Op Scholarships'.
