Did you know the College can connect you with UK Schools to support you in overseas employment in your GAP Year?

The Pymble Ladies’ College GAP program creates a wonderful opportunity for our graduates to participate in a unique experience while representing the College in the global community.

What do Gap students do?

GAP Student roles are a leadership position that are open to every Pymble graduate. These students will be ambassadors for Pymble, NSW and Australia. The future of the GAP Partner Program depends on you. The performance of our girls in the role of GAP staff will determine our ongoing relationship with our partner schools overseas. Candidates should be Pymble girls who demonstrate the core values of the College and are looking for a unique experience at the conclusion of secondary school.

An independent, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 2-18 years.

Tudor Hall

Tudor Hall School is an independent day and boarding school for girls, 11 to 18 years, in Oxfordshire.

d'Overbroeck's

An independent, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11-18 years.

Step 2: References

Two references are required with signatures.

One referee Pymble Ladies’ College staff member.
One external referee (e.g. coach, employer, family friend)
Referees cannot be a parent

To request a reference, please go to MyPymble, locate the "Search for Shortcuts" field and type in reference. The Reference Request icon should appear. There is a two week turnaround for requests. No urgent applications will be accepted.

Please make sure to ask your referee for their permission before submitting their name. Once complete, you will receive a copy of your reference to include in your application.

References should be included with the application form.

Step 3: Submit Application

All applications should be submitted by Monday 22 September 2025 at 3.15pm.

Your application should include:

Application Form including photo and parents signatures
Two references
Copy of your most recent school report

Submit via email to the Futures Department (futures@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au) with subject 'Gap Application -[Your First Name Surname]'
